Jim D. Bauch has over two decades of litigation experience. After receiving his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1998, Mr. Bauch practiced in the litigation department of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro LLP. In November 2007, he joined Lapidus & Lapidus PLC.
Mr. Bauch’s experience includes general commercial litigation as well as trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property; defamation, privacy, and other First Amendment issues; as well as labor, employment, and land use matters. He has participated in successful jury trials on complex business litigation matters, and was named a “Rising Star” by Southern California Lawyer Magazine. He is the co-author of Who Watches the Websurfers?, an article on employee internet use policies published in the inaugural issue of the Privacy and Data Security Law Journal.
