LAPIDUS & LAPIDUS 2009 GOIN’ FOR THE GREEN GOLF TOURNAMENT RAISES OVER $15,000 FOR CEDARS-SINAI MEDICAL CENTER’S COACH FOR KIDS

Over fifty golfers participated in the Lapidus & Lapidus 2009 Goin’ for the Green Golf Tournament on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Malibu Country Club. The tournament hosted by Lapidus & Lapidus, a Beverly Hills law firm, raised over $15,000 gross revenue for COACH For Kids and Their Families, a program sponsored by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

With a low score of 11 under par, The Wisdom Companies, LLC foursome of Tim Edwards, Jim Lambert, Tom Dunbabin and Greg Smith took home first prize, a golf flag from Augusta National Golf Club signed and donated by 2003 Masters Champion Mike Weir.

The COACH (Community Outreach Assistance for Children’s Health) for Kids program brings no-cost, quality healthcare services to low-income children in deserving Los Angeles neighborhoods in fully-equipped mobile units. These “medical clinics on wheels” provide preventative care, such as immunizations and screenings, as well as diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses.
